Foodie Friday: Mike Eardley’s Top 3 Tips for IDDBA17

Today is a pre-show mini-blog for Foodie Friday! We checked in with IDDBA CEO Mike Eardley to find out the top 3 ways to make the most of IDDBA17. Here’s what he shared with us:

1. Plan ahead to save time.

Make your life easier and come Saturday and pick up your credentials early. We don’t want folks standing in line on Sunday Morning! You can skip the long lines, win some great prizes and enjoy a community get-together at the convention center with free food and drinks and the opportunity to gather together and learn how to create sales. The floor is open at 11:00, so you can stay and see the whole floor!

2. Engage with learning opportunities.

Spend time touring Show and Sell, Expert Neighborhood, New Item Show Case, and the brand new “Show and Sell Express” for Convenience Stores. Make sure you talk to the teams working there and commit to learning—which is a two-way street! Go listen to the speakers. There’s a lot to learn!

3. Connect with others.

Download and use the app—it’s a great way to communicate throughout the show. Have fun, eat lots and meet others in the community! You might not need to know them today, but you may tomorrow. And of course, spend time getting to know @Steve Dragoo and others at the “Tweet-In”!
